beka grey (20) originates from the vibrant east coast of Aotearoa (New Zealand) – more specifically, the compact city of Gisborne. Despite growing up surrounded by sunbeams and subtropical environments, her music was never a reflection of this. Grey has been perceptive of her melancholy since early in her childhood. But by stumbling upon a passion for songwriting at a young age, she is able to contort the whirlwind of her emotions into an audible art form
